shop news & other musings...

it feels like i'm finally making some headway in the shop! it's encouraging to see that some of what i've dreamed up in my head is actually making its way into reality. i've been working on product photography this week but the weather has not been so accommodating and i'm lost without natural light. hopefully everything will be finished before christmas.
here's a peek into my "work room"

in other news, SC is starting to feel more like home. we have the sweetest old neighbors who want us to plant a community garden on their land in the spring. they have a yellow lab named jack who pays us visits daily.

this weekend we're off to texas for thanksgiving. i'm planning on baking every day and drinking cinnamon hot chocolate and listening to too much amy grant christmas music.

AND that granny square blanket looks awesome! and the zig zag one! seriously, amazing. noelle, you are so talented and i kick myself every day for not learning how to crochet from you while you were here. those bows are darling too :) i'm so excited to see your shop! love you friend.
