Nursery Tour :: Hazel's Space

this just might be my most favorite room ever!!
i've been dreaming up baby nurserys since long before i even got pregnant. it turned out just exactly how i wanted and was ever so fun to put together. all the furniture came from ikea minus the glider and just about everything else was thrifted. the quilt draped over the crib was hand stitched by her talented aunt kelsey. there's still a few things i want to add - i'd love to save up and get an essential oil diffuser. i'm also waiting for a "little dutch girls" quilt to get here from texas given to her at christmas. the pattern was picked out by her great grandpa and handmade by great grandma :) i'd like to drape it over a rod on  another wall.

i feel a little silly having a whole room dedicated to her nursery seeing that she still sleeps with us, but it has served as a great space to keep her stuff organized. it's where she gets dressed and has diaper changes and gets nursed and rocked to sleep. the rocking chair faces the window and in the afternoon the neighbor cat sits in his window seal across from ours and keeps us company. the room is warm and bright in the mornings - the perfect place to spend them.

i just love it :) and my baby girl who grows lovelier by the moment.
